2002 HSV XU6 V6 supercharged from Australia and New Zealand

Summary:

Perfect in every way!!!

Faults:

To be honest, I have never had a problem with the car, apart from a light globe.

General Comments:

Lots of people don't like it, coz it's not a V8, but let me tell you, very little money, and you blow the 8 out of the water.

Had some mods done, and now pulling 280kw with the supercharger. You have a much quicker take off, and lower it, and you will love it forever.

2002 HSV XU6 VX Series 2 V6 3.8 Supercharged 180kw from Australia and New Zealand

Summary:

Great looks. Great ride. Great car

Faults:

- Seats worn slightly in unusual places.

- Leather on the steering wheel worn.

- One or more pulleys (probably idle pulley) has a squeak. Approximately $50-$200 to fix, will be done this week.

General Comments:

I have only had this car for 3 weeks and I'm very pleased so far. There are obvious signs of wear from the previous owner, but nothing that can be avoided.

This is my first car (I am only 17) so I have no comparison for performance, but I currently rate it as very good. It has modified 3" twin exhaust in it, so it has a very nice note.

The seats are extremely comfortable, they hug you like a bear.

I wouldn't call the squeaking pulley a major problem, it's just annoying, and something you would expect after 100,000 km.

I have owned an XU6 for 10 years. Best car I've ever owned. 252kw after dyno. Went drag racing 2 years ago; 13.11, not bad for a super six.
