1992 Opel Omega 3000 2.0i from Serbia

Summary:

I love this car!

Faults:

Minor electronic problem, loose contacts and little corrosion. Body corrosion at the bottom edges of the door.

General Comments:

Excellent car generally, and especially for that money. Big, reliable, fast, built like a armed vehicle. When I bought it, it has 3000 engine, but I replaced it with 2000 (2.0i) more standard and cheaper and economical engine. Now it's runs little slower then previous 3000, (210 vs 250 km/h) but it's less fuel consumer and much cheaper for registration. In Serbia, registration for 3000 engine is almost double cost then the 2000 engine.

1992 Opel Omega 3000 24V 3L from Sweden

Summary:

BMW killer!

General Comments:

This is a totally different car than my last one (Volvo 940 GL) The handling is good and the steering is precise and neutral. But the best part is the engine! The specs is as follows: 3 litre straight six cylinder whith a 24 valve head. 204 hp. I have clocked it to under 7 seconds 0-100 km/h (0-60mph) several times and the car have a superb acceleration up to the top speed (over 240 km/h) It can easily win over several cars that have much more hp! (BMW 540 with 286hp is one) It's a genuine sleeper! And all this comes with a realy good fuel economy! that about the rest of the car? well just a good sedan, good interior and a clean look.
