1985 Vauxhall Cavalier L 1.6 petrol from UK and Ireland
A great family car
Gearbox started leaking oil at 121,000 miles.
Clutch plate broke at 128,000 miles.
Tyres needed replacing at 132,000 miles.
Engine overheated and badly damaged at 140,000 miles.

Withstood its great age and mileage very well.
Chassis gave excellent handling and engine gave excellent performance and reliability.
The car was also very well built inside and out.
Space and comfort were both impressive.
The Cavalier failed its MOT after 152,000 miles and 15 years and headed for the scrapyard.
