2016 Vauxhall Zafira Tourer ecoFLEX Elite 1.6 CDTi from UK and Ireland
Summary:
Not sure
Faults:
Clutch, oil leak, and the engine management light has recently come on.
General Comments:
Elite Zafira Tourer - a much more sorted car than earlier Zafira's.
Acres of space, Elite model has the lot - leather and all electrics.
Fantastic driving position and good to drive for an MPV. Comfort is top notch for any passenger.
1.6 CDTi is economical at around 45 - 50 mpg realistically, forget claims of 60 + mpg, you'll never get that unless the vehicle is empty and you cruise on the motorway for hours. Also unsure of its reliability long term - yes it is older now with decent mileage, but looked after it should handle it no problem, I have had high mileage diesels in the past that were OK, but have read horror stories of this particular car's reliability being poor. Hopefully my mechanic can fix the recent engine light coming on - seems to not affect how it drives, so hopefully nothing serious.
Still, for a cheap used buy a couple of years ago, it has been an economical family vehicle and still feels as though there is life left in it for another year or so.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know
