General Comments:

Arteon - deep black 2017 fastback model. Stunning looking car.

2.0 petrol engine gives amazing performance and decent economy as well if you take it slow. DSG box makes driving a doddle.

The car is fantastic to drive. Grips corners well on good tyres. Not a sports car, but a very well sorted touring fastback that was built for long motorway drives.

Lovely coupe style but it has 4 doors, very practical.

R-Line model is top of the range and has leather and electrics.

Holds value well - so expensive to buy for a VW, even on the used market with some mileage, but well worth it so far, easily one of my best cars in three decades of driving. Cannot believe they stopped making these, I believe sales were poor. People have no idea what they are missing. The Arteon reminds me more of VW's older Phaeton model rather than the Passat.

General Comments:

My first Hybrid car. I bought it secondhand and it is a fully loaded car. It has all the bells and whistles on the catalog. VW press demo unit.

This car is the perfect tourer. 218 HP under your foot and perfect driving position.

The car drives for you on highways when Travel Assist is engaged.

Rear passengers have tons of legroom and their own AC and 220v power socket.

GTE mode is absolutely hilarious. This car is not a true sports car, but a very well sorted out tourer.
