1997 Ford Transit 150 review from UK and Ireland
"Transits work and work and work"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Very little mechanical problems considering the mileage covered. It's on its third engine and second rear axle, gearbox still original.
Biggest problem with Transits appears to be chassis rust. I have had several stints of welding done to this Transit as I did with my previous one.
General comments?
Transits are the workhorse of the world; not fast or powerful, but sufficient and efficient.
My Transits having done galactic miles have always got me to my destination, and need minimal repair and maintenance.
