What things have gone wrong with the car?
When I first got this truck, it was for my 16th birthday and I had a few problems with it due to the previous owner not maintaining it. I got all the little kinks worked out, and I drive everyday to school and to work, all the problems at first were minor; costing $100 at the most.
General comments?
I think in 1998 Chevrolet probably made the best truck ever!
I have a 1998 Z71, and I couldn't be happier; the 5.7 Vortec engine gives it a lot of power, and speed.
The extended cab version gives me extra space to put my football stuff in, or for my books after school. I have cloth seats, which have to be the most comfortable seats I have ever sat on in a car or truck.
I've gone mudding a few times, and have yet to find anywhere that has got me stuck before.
In 1998, Chevy definitely knew how to make the perfect truck.
