2007 Mercedes-Benz SL review from UK and Ireland
"Gorgeous, thrilling, only two seats"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
None.
General comments?
No adaptive suspension, but the handling is very crisp. Corners flat.
Initially little torque, and it feels like there is not much power, but at higher revs, the power really kicks in and it's extremely exhilarating.
The steering is uber-light, and it's very easy round town, whilst still providing pin sharp control on country roads. The brakes are outstanding.
The cabin is very bling, and the car is ostentatious, but you can't argue with the excellence of design and implementation.
The speed limiter is useful :)
