1981 Jeep CJ7 Renegade review from Costa Rica
"Will keep it for the rest of my life"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Well, this was a fixer upper... so lots of things were wrong with it that were not the car's fault.
I would say that manufacturing type things would be the tranny, and brakes. Just not as strong as they should be.
General comments?
Still great classic look; I get comments all the time.
The body is prone to rust, but you can rust proof it.
This thing will go anywhere, even with a puny little diesel engine with maybe 60hp; it will crawl up the side of a wall.
Parts are cheap and easy to find.
Easy to make a Jeep just the way you want it.
