1972 Lincoln Mark IV Continental review from North America
"My elegant time machine"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
It's too early to tell, she's my first big-bird car.
So far though, she is flawless.
General comments?
I have wanted one of these since the very first time I laid eyes on her. You can moan all you want about gas prices, economy numbers etc., and all it will point out is one reality: you either love this type of car or don't. Hell, I want to be buried in it. It's like a second wife with kids: if you really love them, it doesn't matter what the world says, you listen to your heart.
I'm so glad I listened to mine.
