2000 Oldsmobile Bravada Platinum Edition review from North America
"With today's gas prices you need a thick wallet., should be able to find these cheap"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing has gone wrong for me since I owned it except I had to replace to alternator at 73000 miles in 2007. Brake pads around 76000 miles. My total maintenance cost to date has been around $400.
The previous owner reported having to work on the axles since he put the wrong size tires and rims on it. (bling) Cost him $2700. He also replaced the door hinge pins.
My wife is the primary driver so I need to check up on it every couple weeks. She's had at least 4 flat tires (nails, screws...) she didn't even know it has a 6 disc CD changer under the arm rest until I told her.
General comments?
Love the AWD and heated seats.
It also has a single CD player and cassette in the dash system.
Heated seats.
Sunroof
Driver info center.
Not great on gas... 13-14 city 18-20 hwy.
Overall a safe but heavy SUV.
