1987 Nissan Silvia review from Norway
"Real high performance if you have about 100000 Norwegan Kroner"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Rust on the plate under the registeration plate, but has been changed, have just changed the registeration.
A little hole in the side of the cheer.
Bad paint after 14 years, doing a repaint in red with cobra stripes or racing flag.
General comments?
Mounting an intercooler from a Cosworth.
A dumpvalve for that cool sound and faster turbo charge after a gear change.
A inside turbopresure adjuster (up to 1.4 psi.) Needs a fifth injector.
A BMC power filter (gives a cool sound if you don't have a dumpvalve at those high presure gearchanges)!
Sachs Clutch for better grip at high rpm starts!
Cool blue neon lights inside the cupe.
17 inch 5 spoked alu's with 235 40 tires back and 215 45 front tires (Toyo Proxis).
Balanced drive axle.
New bearings in the turbo (expensive in Norway).
2001 model Celica rear wing! Looks real cool, especially compared to the ugly foam wing it had originally!
New cool carbon wipers with twin blade!
The car is now running at ca 330bhp!!!
Does 0-100 km/t in just 4.8 seconds, real fun!!! Hard to keep traction for the first 3 gears!!!
The car needs ABS!!!
Thinking of projecting an ABS set from a 200SX s13!! I think it'll be a big job if possible!!!
