1977 IHC Scout II 100 review from North America
"I will never own any other make"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
This truck has been extremely reliable. I use it for hunting, fishing, and as my daily driver in my excavating business. It sees off-road use about every other weekend, and gets the tar beat out of it. Even with 36 inch tires, I never have any reliability problems.
General comments?
The engine is torquier low in the powerband, better than any other I've driven at low rpms. It will pull my skidsteer and trailer (approx 7000lbs) with ease and doesn't even chop tires. I would not trade the strength and reliability of this International for any other make. It is without a doubt the most reliable make on the market. All of my dump trucks are IH also.
