1976 Chevrolet Truck K10 review from North America
"Rugged, reliable, affordable and fun"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing other than basic maintenance items, brakes, clutch, battery, starter, alternator.
Valve cover gasket went at 150K miles.
Now have replace most everything as upgrades, not due to failure. Now have the 502 motor and 1 ton drive-train, plus 44" swampers.
General comments?
Great reliable truck, I love the styling, especially the short bed.
Makes a great platform for a stout 4x4.
Basically bullet-proof.
It does ride and drive like a truck, not like the modern car-like trucks. Might want to look at something else for long distance family trips.
