1992 Lancia Delta Integrale Evo 1 review from UK and Ireland
"This is the most exhilarating car I have driven and owned!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Soon after purchasing the car, it burnt out an exhaust valve.
The boost has been increased to 1.25 bar without increasing the fuel pressure!
A rear brake caliper seized and the alternator had to be replaced.
However in the last 2 years, virtually nothing has gone wrong, with the only cost being servicing and MOT's.
General comments?
After seeing the Integrale as a rally car I had to have one. It took me 2 years to find mine (a white 8v Evo originally for the German market) and I still get an enormous thrill driving it.
The original cat has been removed and a amazing 1 piece exhaust (to the back box) has been fitted.
It runs on 17" Ronal alloys with Avon ZZ1's. It has the quick change gear selector and white dials.
The interior is black leather with Recaro seats. The car was cosseted by its previous (German) owner, with bills to prove it, with some nice engineering touches.
