1984 Nissan EXA ET N12 review from Australia and New Zealand
"The ultimate performer for the young driver!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Turbo overheating was 1st problem however I fitted a intercooler system to it so it runs a lot cooler now.
Ball joints at 178,000kms
Rocker cover gasket at 180,000kms.
Exhaust manifold gasket at 180,000kms.
General comments?
When I first purchased my Exa I could tell from the minute I put my foot down abit that I had bought a quick little sports car.
Wheelspins up to mid 2nd in dry and mid 3rd in the wet!
Handling is great. I have recently lowered the car which I found makes it understeer abit more than before.
Very cheap to run and parts are not that hard to find. Parts are about normal for a sportscar.
100 times better than my old fully modified 202 Torana!
