1992 Volvo 740 review from North America
"Well built, elegant car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Only a few minor problems with my the car so far. The transmission was not shifting correctly (which had me very nervous) although it turned out to be a problem with the transmission cable. (about $15.00 to fix)
Brakes had to be redone, this cost a lot, and they still squeak.
General comments?
I find the 740 to be a bit sluggish; should have gone with a turbo.
It has been a great car so far, it handles well, and I feel very safe driving it.
For it's age and mileage, it LOOKS wonderful. This is why I bought it, I find that Volvos age well.
