1992 Asuna Sunrunner review from North America
"One of the best 4x4 on the market for the price which gives back super performance"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing more than usual stuff has gone wrong. I have replaced the clutch assembly, tires, exhaust and done some repair on the floor where it has rotted. The only real falt I find with the Sunrunner I would say is they all tend to rot above the tailgate on the hard body types and on the rocker panels under the moldings. My Sunrunner has been through a lot and it hasn't let me down very much. I am very very impressed with it. I do most of all the work that has to be done to it. All the engine and suspension and brakes are very easy to work on. Its too bad that there wasn't more reliable vehicles like this on the market today.
General comments?
I can say for certain that any person who plans on buying one of these vehicles or driving one should first realize that they have a very short wheel base and that care must be taken when making quick turns or very steep climbs or declines down hills. I know a person who thought they could drive theirs like a tank and they rolled it over. All it takes is a little common sense to avoid this, but some people don't have that.
