1973 IHC 1010 review from North America

"A hard to find head turner"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The only thing to go wrong with this 1/2 ton, was the master brake cylinder. This truck would run when all the others wouldn't.

General comments?

This truck usually turns heads. I bought it for $2000, 7 years ago. It had 4 new tires, a new stereo, and a new custom paint job. It made me wonder as to how much I actually paid for the truck (4 tires-$500, stereo-$250, custom paint-$1000).

The worst thing about this truck is the gas mileage. I get about 8 miles to the gallon, long trips are out of the question, since the gas gauge does not work (it always points at E).
