1979 Mitsubishi Lancer GL review from Australia and New Zealand

"A great low performance first car"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Radiator had to be re-cored at 174000km.

Slight tears in the upholstery.

The brakes are very soft.

General comments?

This is an excellent little car.

It is very gutless.

The brakes are a definite area that needs to be replaced it you are considering purchasing this car.

Also, a new engine is recommended.

Most lancer engines will fit in, including the 1.9l turbo version.
