1992 Buick Skylark review from North America
"A poor choice for a high mileage car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Paint peeling off the hood and doors (when we bought the car)
Straps on glove box broken.
Heater coil replaced, (leaking) 159000 miles.
Radiator flushed, (car trying to run hot) 160000 miles.
Water pump started leaking 160000 miles.
Freeze plug leaking, (rusted through) 160000 miles.
Head gasket started leaking causing engine to run hot and wiping out crankshaft, 1620000 miles.
General comments?
The car looked good and was bought from a close coworker, but has not been very dependable. it rode good and had a cold air conditioner.
