1997 Daewoo Tico SX/AC review from Romania
"Need a fast city ride? This is your chance!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
After a few hundred kilometers, fuel consumption raised a lot, because of carburetor tuning.
The brakes wear out pretty fast.
General comments?
It's preety uncomfortable at long trips,
and the engine lacks power, making overtakes preety hard at over 100 km/h.
For a change, this car really rocks the road. You often get to see large engine cars left behind without too much trouble, because on the first three gears, the car really gives you cool sensations.
Light weight, small, low consumption and fast, are three caracteristics that describe this car, making it suitable for urban traveling (or racing) getting you in the fastest way possible at any destination.
And the best thing about it is you won't have any problems parking it around the city.
It's a pleasure driving it, and it's a pleasure letting it drive you.
The only thing to be done for this car (in a possible next version) would be giving it a more powerful engine, so that you wouldn't have to be restrained while doing overtakes at higher speeds.
Overall, I must say this is an excellent car, for as long as staying in the city limits.
