2000 Audi A8 Quattro 4.2 review from North America
"Excellent Choice in a High Performance Luxury Car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
No Problems.
General comments?
I purchased this car used as a second car. I purchased it because it fit me, it had the most bang for the buck, and I very much liked the power and handling of this vehicle.
I have owned other high-end cars in the past such as a Mecedes S-430 and E-55, a BMW 7, and a Lexus.
The Audi A8 feels lighter, faster, and seems to track a bit better when being driven very hard... more so than the Mercedes S Class or BMW 7 Series.
The Audi handles extremely well. I am very pleased with the peformance and handling of the car.
The car is very comfortable and it fits my 6'8" frame fairly well.
I miss the maps that the other German and Japanese navigation systems feature. However, the navigation system is very simple to use and works flawlessly.
I am very happy with this car and like the fact that it is low key. The lines are nice and the car has a nice stance. However, it is not flashy or obvious. Tastefully done styling.
