What things have gone wrong with the car?
Welding.
General comments?
I actually purchased this car for £60! It was red with only a couple of rust spots and I couldn't believe my luck.
Basically, I cannot fault it. The drive was comfortable, it was very nippy and fast for a car of this size.
I really thought I'd only have it for the 5 months left on the MOT, but amazingly it went through an MOT with only a little welding underneath required and a new tyre. Total cost £110!
I think seventeen months motoring for £170 is a bargain.
Petrol consumption was a little high at only 18mpg around town and 25 on a run, but for a car this age and size not ridiculous.
It was a god given gift!
