2001 Holden Commodore VX review from Australia and New Zealand
"Overall a great reliable car, aside from some minor finish issues"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I have placed a comment on this site before. Under Home>Holden>Commodore>VT II"S" where I commented on the issues with my VX Commodore Equipe. I have had the following go wrong:
1. Radio remotes on steering wheel failed.
2. Two individual high tension power leads failed at different times
3. Drivers sun visior bracket broken inside, i. e would not stay to the side of window (driver side).
4. Rubber flaps on rear window replaced.
All of the above fixed under warrantty.
What I STILL HAVE WRONG is a rattle in the vacinity of the glove box. I do not have a passenger air bag fitted and I'd hazard a guess that it is a loose plastic connection (wiring loom??) rattling inside the "empty" airbag area.
General comments?
Does anyone have an idea how you can get into this area to check, easily?? It is driving me up the wall. Constant rattle on highway driving (every workday).
Does anyone have any idea how I can check this out? If so please reply here or to my email address: karlvarson@hotmail.com.
Please note I made a typo on the email address on my original post. THe address above is correct.
