1992 Fiat Tipo SX review from Greece
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Bought Second Hand with 48K Km. (130K now).
60K Alternator and battery replaced.
65K Rear absorbers replaced (leaking).
110K Heater motor failed.
112K Fan switch failed.
120K Some problems with handling.
122K Power steering high pressure tube failed and replaced.
125K Problems with injection system, partially fixed. Still gives me a nag once or twice a week.
Dealers in Italy offered good service (average 8.5). Dealers in Greece were mediocre (average 6.5).
General comments?
A nice and comfortable car. Makes some noise. Engine is oil-thirsty compared
with my FIAT UNO (1lt/8000Km). Torque is good (the car is light compared with today's tanks!!!). Economic (13km/lt. country side 12.5km/lt Highway with 130km/h).
