1968 Wolseley 16/60 review from Netherlands
"Reliable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The only unexpected brake down was caused by worn breaker points of the fuel pump.
In 2001, due to unleaded petrol, I had one burnt valve.
Hence I reconditioned the cylinder head and converted it into unleaded.
General comments?
For nowadays traffic the car is a bit slow, but it runs very economical, on average 8 liters per 100 km.
Compared with cars of its period it's not bad at all. Handling and speed is better than for e.g. an Opel Rekord 1700 or a Mercedes 200.
