1979 Subaru Leone review from Australia and New Zealand
"A great little car with loads of character"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The only few things that are wrong with my car are:
1. The CV joints wear somewhat quickly
2. The engine seals, ie oil seals are a bit of a problem.
3. The dashboard has fatigued and cracked.
4. It is not the type of car to pull a load in a trailer easily
they are the only major problems!
General comments?
The Subaru Leone is one of the most hardiest cars available, they will start all the time, they will go, although not quickly, they will go.
It is an ideal first car, the fuel consumption cannot be equaled by any other car of the same size.
The SUBARU Leone is the type of car that can be slightly dinted, scratched or even lightly crashed and all it will do is add character to it!
