2003 Mitsubishi Mirage review from Australia and New Zealand
"Good reliable drive at a bargain price"
General comments?
This car is a great drive, its quite, reliable, fuel efficient and comfortable, however I have found the air conditioning weak, draining and I still have white "flakes" coming out of the vents which is apparently sealant.
I recently had an accident in my car. Someone ran up the back of me at about 5kms, if the car had been going 60kms I probably wouldn't be here. These cars are designed to crumple, which is fine at the front of the car because there is 1mtr of "crumple space" and a fire wall. There is no protection from a hard crash at the back of the car, poor design in my opinion.
