1991 Opel Corsa GL review from Netherlands
"Cheap to drive, fun to handle..."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing.
Just a very funny drive. The 1.4i engine is very awake, and accelerates quite well. Reaches 150 km/h without pain, after wards the car starts to shake a bit.
General comments?
Simple, but reliable.
Good seats for the size and nice performance. Good economy. Dashboard & interior improved quite a lot since model 1990+. 5-gear box gives more 'silence' in the interior.
Rust? A touch of typical 'Opelness'. The well-known places, but not serious at all. Maybe the Corsa is more strong than the Astra and Calibra?
