2003 MG ZT 180 sports review from UK and Ireland
"A class act. Why hasn't everybody got one?"
General comments?
This car is just superb.
Its pretty quick even for an automatic, is very smooth and refined and goes round corners like a hot hatch.
I find the acceleration really gets going above 3000 rpm. It really feels like a turbo cutting in... and the growl of that V6 engine - it should be bottled and sold as an aphrodisiac!
I have never had a car that has attracted so much attention. It is a real stunner as far as looks go. Our local doctor was pretty upset that his new Mercedes was virtually ignored by the locals whereas my MG attracted quite a crowd.
The interior is a refreshing change from the doom and gloom of the Germans and just oozes class and style.
Seats hold you very snugly - which is just as well as I just love throwing it around corners - and yet are remarkably comfortable on long journeys.
