2000 Mitsubishi Carisma GDI review from UK and Ireland
"Cheap for a good reason!!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
All fog lights and dips blew at some stage.
Radiator needed to be replaced due to manufacturer problems (told by dealer).
Water pipe burst shortly after buying.
Problems with driver and boot door locks. Absolute heap of junk.
General comments?
Don't be fooled by the low price of this car (second hand) in comparison to others. It depreciates enormously for a good reason.
Even the dealers know whats wrong when they see you coming. You would be better going for a better make with higher mileage.
The car handles like its on rails, and a pretty good MPG, but I would still swap for a nice pair of Nikes' anyday. I've had that much trouble.
