1997 Kia Sephia LX review from North America
"I don't expect it to last the year"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The dashboard warped over the steering column and radio units; can't reattach.
Brakes had to be replaced twice.
CV joints both had to be replaced.
Radiator had to be replaced.
Air conditioner stopped working at 80,000 miles.
Overheats all the time.
Check engine light comes on - dealer can find no reason why.
Gas cap cover hinge rusted and broke - now no gas cap cover.
Trunk doesn't open unless pulled up.
Spare tire bay retains rainwater.
Idles low which sometimes makes it turn off completely.
General comments?
Cabin has enough room that I can sit comfortably-and I'm 6' tall.
Radio is nice and loud!
It isn't worth what it would cost to fix the function problems.
