1986 Honda Integra SX review from Australia and New Zealand
"Can be a lot of fun and nice to look at, but very expensive to repair"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced clutch soon after getting the car.
Alternator needed replacing at around 250000km.
Brakes Master Cylinder was leaking when I purchased the car.
Fuel Pump seized recently.
The interior is slowly beginning to wear.
Some small rust spots on roof and front right quarter panel, but paint is in good condition other than that.
Springs and shockers need replacing all round.
Hole in exhaust.
General comments?
Car handles well when the shockers and tires are good, if they aren't launching the car hard can become very difficult.
Steering is extremely heavy at slow speeds, but it can make for very precise cornering.
The engine is punchy enough for it's size. Would like to do some sort of light tuning to it, but finances just aren't a possibility right now.
