2002 Opel Corsa Comfort review from Singapore
"A brilliant drive. electricals were troublesome, but not overly so"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Gear change cable broke, at around 60,000km. I've never encountered this problem with any of my other manual cars. the technician said it's not good to change gears too fast: from 1st to 2nd, to go to the middle and not slot into 2nd directly. some electrical faults around 70-80,000km: the air con power selector, then the wipers.
General comments?
Overall, still a handsome little car that drives very well. pickup is good, cruising can get a little noisy at 110kph. pretty comfy with leather seats. the construction feels sturdy, and having two airbags in a small car like this is comforting.
