1997 Mitsubishi Diamante SEI review from Australia and New Zealand
"A great car to own and drive, but you maybe disapointed at resale time"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Brake pads needed replacing after a service and inspection.
General comments?
Full electrics and descent stereo system for those who wish to be spoiled.
The 3.5 V6 has good torque and steady power across the revs. However, engine noise is noticeable.
A welcome improvement in overall body looks from previous models.
Road holding and cornering is great with very little body roll.
Front wheel spin is a nuisance during faster than normal take offs, especially in the wet.
Possible problem at resale time.
