2000 Skoda Octavia GLX review from Norway
"Nice reliable car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Seat heating didn't work when new (warranty)
trunk lock engine broke when new (warranty)
rear badge fell off after 50000 km (fixed it with 2 component glue)
changed front brake pads after 80000km
wire for the front door lock broke after 80000 km (70 £)
changed gaskets in the steering mechanism after 100000 km (cost about 100£)
General comments?
Only minor faults
very reliable
comfortable and very nice to drive
economical good second hand price
enormous boot, but too small space in the back seat. Therefore we bought a second car a Toyota Picnic.
