1985 Jeep CJ7 review from North America
"If you have to ask, you won't understand"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Rear differential failed.
Heater core.
Starter.
Clutch master cylinder.
Rear pinion seal.
General comments?
My CJ has seen more mud than pavement by a long shot. Off roading is hard on anything. Considering the abuse, she has held up well. It is a terrible street vehicle and that is fine by me! It is for off road fist and street second. It's not perfect, but with the huge aftermarket you can make it what you want. If you want a better street driver with lesser off road capability get a Wrangler.
