1985 Audi 80 CC review from Norway
"Fantastic car!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Clutch burnt out at 190.000 km.
Seat heaters burnt out at 164.000 km.
The car is leaking rain water. The floor can be soaked in water after a rainy day/night.
Driver seat is worn.
General comments?
The car is quick and strong. Heavy acceleration for an 1800 ccm engine.
Good space in both trunk and cabin.
Easy to maintain and cheap parts.
The car before my previous Passat was also an Audi 80 CC. I had this car until 1997, when it passed 400.000 km. It still worked fine!
Rock solid engine!
Handles like a dream on icy roads!
