1979 Mitsubishi Lancer A72 Type-LB 1400SL review from Philippines

"The first Lancer was also the best"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Nothing, except for minor wear and tear that you expect from a car that's 27 years old.

General comments?

Lightweight, compact and reliable thanks to its engineering simplicity.

Known as the "King of Cars" in Africa because it dominated the Safari Rally in the 70's which during it's time was the biggest rally in the FIA World Rally Championship, stretching over five days and a gruelling 6,000 km.

Old Lancers never die... this car is already a Legend.
