One fantastic car

Electrics.
Hydraulic tensioner.
2nd gear crunch (needs good driver).
Power steering rack.

General Comments:
Has great performance and looks great sounds awesome and has brilliant handling.
A great car for the money.
The best Alfa I have ever driven.
Easy to fix.

It's a transaxle Alfa. 1st to 2nd will always be weak. Concentrate on the 80-130kmph.

It was a poorly understood car; I think the problem was that the design didn't help, and Alfa Romeo was in crisis at the time.
But the 90 itself was a good car and quite reliable. In Europe, they were often seen as taxis in the 1980s. I traveled in one of them, and still remember its interior, very Italian style, avant-garde and innovative in those years.

I am thinking of buying an alfa 90 and I was wondering about the tranmission. I have taken it for a test drive and noticed the 1st/2nd crunch has anyone had any problems resulting from this?
