1994 Holden Calibra

Faults:

From 3 months trouble with the aircon. Back and forth to the dealers. 7 weeks after all warranties ran out the dealer suddenly found the problem?? Customer service came to the aid with 1/2 the replacement cost, $1000 each party.....

Prior to this car was approx 1 year old - timing belt and pulley, shattered and destroyed valves etc. 1 month later and much inconveniance, customer service paid for all repairs.

Driver's window never closes properly, and dealer can never fix it...

Valves now apparently need replacing again... I question this, as I made it known at time of the first incident that I was not happy with them honing valves to fit the car...

Fight on my hands again. I am now going to get rid of my car... Breaks my heart as I love her...

DOLLY is her name. WHY?? Any thing that wears a Bra that size, must be dolly!!!

General Comments:

Holden dealers do not know how to treat their customers, or it seems have any real knowledge of this model of car...

SHAME REALLY.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know

I have a 2001 Holden Vectra. This is a lovely car that has had very few problems, but I agree with you in that Holden dealers do not know how to treat their customers. Just recently my Vectra needed its front left hand damper replaced and when the job was completed the car come back with the steering wheel on at an angle! Another instance is when the car came back from its schedule service the petrol flap was broken! When approached the dealer wanted nothing to do with it. When the flap was eventually replaced it was painted the wrong colour and took a further three goes to get right!
