2005 Honda Accord Euro Luxury 2.4 i-VTEC

Summary:

Absolutely brilliant drive if you're a nana or boy racer

Faults:

Nothing, this car rides and feels like a brand new car. It's far quieter than most new cars.

General Comments:

This car accelerates quickly and the ride is superb.

Leather seats are still in almost new condition; no cracks.

The air con does not smell, and has dual zone climate control, so my girlfriend is kept hot while I am cool. Heated seats in the front allow for extra temperature control.

The engine purrs, and is equally comfortable cruising at low speeds or driving hard at high speeds. And believe me, I do both.

Sunroof is perfect; the visor stops all heat from coming through on hot days.

Headlights are incredible.

When braking hard, the brakes lock up under extreme pressure before releasing, which sounds bad, but I suspect this is what it's supposed to be doing.

Mine is in metallic gun metal grey; looks very slick. Prefer the design of this to the newer 2008 model, which has a better interior, but loses some class on the exterior.

Electric seats in the Luxury are very easy to adjust the position to suit you; you can lower and raise the seat to allow for the height of the driver.

2005 Honda Accord Euro 2.4 petrol

Summary:

Fantastic 2nd car, looks great and drives well

Faults:

Not a lot has gone wrong. Only items required to be addressed under warranty so far is a squeaky speaker trim.

General Comments:

This car is seriously quick and handles like it's on rails.

Good interior and features. Subdued and very Germanic.

Have loaded an ipod kit into it and the system handles it well.

Looks good with it's wedgy shape.

Standard alloys always attract attention.
