1993 Nissan 300ZX Z32 2+2 3.0L

Summary:

Wanted one for ten years!

Faults:

When I first bought the car it had a few problems that were later rectified by the dealer.

Knock sensors were faulty causing the engine to have a rough idle and lack of power at low revs. ($AUS1,200)

Unbalanced tail shaft, cause vibration through drivetrain. ($AUS800)

Replaced shockers and about to have new brake pads put on.

General Comments:

I had never driven a sports car before and only owned older cars before, so I was surprised how bumpy the ride was and how noisy the car is inside especially when its wet. I actually look out for and avoid driving over manholes covers and bumps in the road now.

Wish I had a auto! You can't relax behind the wheel with a manual

Apart from those few initial problems my car is in terrific shape, thanks to the original owner. I love driving the ZX and find it a very exciting car.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Hello all!

I was just browsing pages with "Twin Turbo" headers and dropped into this page!

I own my second Twin Turbo since yesterday... and I am very happy with it.. second time already... I was happy with the first one too!

My car is automatic, which makes it a bit slower as one with manual, but the smooth drive pays it of! Great car, only 50 tousand km on it! (metallic red, interior black leather and it is year model 1992!!)
