1986 Nissan Pulsar ET Turbo 1.5 turbo injected

Summary:

Little turbo pocket rocket

Faults:

Minor oil leak coming from the head gasket.

Vacuum hose needed replacing at 250000ks, cost 50 cents.

CV joints and clutch needed replacing.

General Comments:

The Pulsar ET is an absolutely marvelous car. When 3000 rpm hits, you're on boost and you sure know about it.

It handles OK, but could be better by putting new shockers and springs in.

The seats are said to be the most comfortable seats ever made in a production car, and I would definatly agree with that.

It can keep the wheels spinning strongly into second gear, and chirp into third, and easily beats V6 Commodores in pick up, but obviously loses in the top end.

If you can find one, buy it, they are truly a piece of automotive history. I searched for 3 years to find one and don't regret a single bit of it.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Let's hope your statement about the seats was hyperbole and not meant to be taken seriously, as it is quite incredible.
