2000 Nissan Skyline R34 GTR 2.6 twin turbo petrol

Summary:

A high performance coupe for the race car driver at hear.t

Faults:

Left front mirror electric motor needed replacing 3 months after purchase.

Two rear brake light bulbs have needed replacing since I acquired the car.

General Comments:

Truly a performance car. Nissan have done a great job. Acceleration is blistering, and the 220 km/h speed limiter really holds the car back.

The Brembo brakes and ventilated disks haul the car to a standstill in no time at all. The ABS system is amazing.

The handling is superb. However, the springs are stiff which can make for a relatively rough ride. Quite uncomfortable off paved roads.

2000 Nissan Skyline GTR V-Spec 2.6 Twin Turbo

Summary:

A supercar sleeper.

Faults:

Nothing yet.

General Comments:

Probably the most exciting car I've ever owned. Spool the engine up to 8500, dump the clutch, and watch as you take off like a jet from an aircraft carrier. All 4 tyres grip and you move. Modify it slightly and you get even more performance. Try to keep your balls from leaving you behind.

I love Skylines, they turn more heads than 911's and tuned up one are amazing, problem is I am only seventeen and have an MG Metro. But I have seen so many cheap second hand ones so come the time when my insurance comes down the 2.6 twin-turbo power will be very useful (evil laughter) ha ha ha.
