1976 Triumph 2500S 4 speed man /e/

Summary:

A joy to have in my possession

Faults:

Had to remove and clean the clutch slave cylinder.

General Comments:

This car is a gem to drive.

It's got the most beautiful sounding exhaust note, will out corner most mass produced modern cars, and it never fails to attract attention to itself.

The car has been slightly worked prior to me buying it, but it's no race car, but could be made to go quite quickly if you wanted it to.

Stylish cruising saloon.

Love the wood dash.

1977 Triumph 2500S 2.5 straight six

Summary:

A bargain stylish cruiser

Faults:

Some rust.

Spongy shockers.

Brake pads need replacing.

The seat velour linings have started to fray and wear.

General Comments:

I've had two 2500TC'c prior to picking up the "S" which was in very good condition.

The car is quick, and cruises easily at 110km/h, with low revs, however it is a bit heavy around town.

The timber dash and door trim are quite flash, and always draws comment from passengers.

The car is a stylish cruiser, which I use on a daily basis.

A good review.

Though now living in Britain... I had an Australian delivery 2500S 4 speed manual with overdrive on 3rd and 4th... I completed over 300,000km in it... It was a fantastic car; comfortable, fast and long legged for Australian roads... I took it over some rough ones too.

I was never forgiven for selling it.
