2006 Kia Picanto EX 1.1 petrol

Summary:

Comfy

Faults:

49,000 km, automatic transmission idles at a very low RPM, causing the car to turn off sometimes improperly.

49,000 km, brakes screeching.

50,000 km, A/C takes time to either cool or heat up the place.

50,500 km, windshield cleaner replaced, rubber was noisy and scratching the windshield.

General Comments:

I like this car, everybody in the family uses it. I see a lot of these Kia Picantos, some are newer models. The price was right, and it's the EX version with A/C, air bag, hydraulic steering wheel and automatic transmission, as well as leather seats.

It's really comfortable, but internal space is small for rear passengers, despite not using this car for longer commutes where people need to sit in the back.

2008 Kia Picanto EX 1.1

Summary:

Best purchase ever

Faults:

No one so far.

General Comments:

I had purchase this Picanto as I drive a lot in the city, so I thought a small car with automatic transmission would be great.

I was a bit worried about its comfort and performance, as I had a station wagon with an 1.8 engine, but now I can tell that I am very happy with Picanto, as besides it is silent and pleasant to drive, I can drive for almost 14 kilometers, with just 1 litre of gasoline.

It's a few money for a great little car.
