2006 Renault Logan Dinamique 1.6 petrol

Summary:

Big on space, a lot of standard options, but low on price

Faults:

Well I just passed the 3000 km mark and, at first, I thought the car was underpowered, but as I passed the 1000 km mark and the 2000 km mark I feel the engine is getting better everyday.

General Comments:

This car is great. The Renault version of it looks way better than the Dacia one, and here in Colombia it's a plus that it is badged Renault as the marque Dacia is unknown here.

The car's looks are a bit odd; some people love it, some people don't.

The interior is pretty spartan, but that is not a problem considering the price paid for it, and the list of standard equipment. The car has A/C, 2 airbags, four power windows, power mirrors, alarm, original Renault CD radio, power steering, ABS, and power locks with remote control.

The greatest thing this car has is the big interior. In the rear 3 big adults can be comfortable on a long trip, which is a thing you do not see on the other cars that are in the same range of price.

To the people that are considering one, I think you should get the diesel or the 1.6 engine version, because I test drove the 1.4 and I believe that engine is really underpowered for the car.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Wrong, Dacia has sold cars in South America since 1970 including Colombia for that matter.

Dacia Logan and Renault Logan, are exactly the same cars, and yes, your Logan looks much better because the front grill is different, that's what makes the car.
