2008 Peugeot 207 Sport HDI 110 HDI 110 turbo diesel

Summary:

Very sporty and roomy small car!

Faults:

Really nothing yet. Everything has worked fine.

General Comments:

Very responsive, and has very good handling and a comfortable chassis. The engine is very strong and one of the best diesel engines that is built! The fuel consumption is around 4,5-4,8l/100km.

In the back seat there is as much space as in the new Golf, and more than in the Fiat Brava.

2007 Peugeot 207 Sport (XS) VTi 120 1.6 VTi

Summary:

Sporty driving with comfort and low fuel consumption

Faults:

Noting so far. It´s just 1½year old.

General Comments:

It's very good to drive, the suspension is quite comfortable but the car is very steady. The feeling driving it on a country road is better than the older 206 and 205, and they were good!

The interior is beautiful, and the seats are very comfortable and steady. The rear seats are quite roomy, for a car in the B2-segment.

The engine is smooth, it has good torque from 1500rpm up to 6000rpm. I have tested also the HDI110; it was very good to drive too, but I'm more for petrol engines. This engine drinks about 5l/100km on country roads, but in the city it's from 6-7½.

The dealer service is not so good, the service prices are as like as the premium marques prices. So I think I'll go to some "unofficial" Peugeot service-garages.
